Information we collect
- Account information, including name, email address, verification status and encrypted authentication records.
- Home configuration supplied by you, such as room names, appliance labels, controller identifiers, timers and scenes.
- Controller status and command records needed to operate, synchronize and troubleshoot your devices.
- Push-notification tokens and security logs such as IP address, request time and authentication attempts.
- When you link Google Home or Amazon Alexa, authorization tokens and the enabled device names needed to discover and control your devices. We do not receive your Google or Amazon password.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, bind controllers to the correct customer, deliver commands and device status, send requested service messages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and improve product reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Legal basis and choices
We process information to provide the service you request, protect the service and comply with applicable law. Voice-assistant linking is optional and can be disconnected in the applicable assistant account. Notifications can be changed in device settings.
Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate ELLECTRA, such as infrastructure, email and push-delivery providers, and with Google or Amazon when you explicitly link those services. Providers receive only the information needed for their role. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service.
Retention and security
Account and device configuration is retained while your account is active. Short-lived authorization codes expire quickly; service logs and completed message jobs are retained only for operational and security needs. We use HTTPS, restricted database access, hashed passwords, encrypted sensitive queue content, rate limits and scoped device authorization. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ELLECTRA services are intended for adults responsible for installing or managing electrical devices and are not directed to children.
Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion by following the account deletion instructions or emailing us from your registered address. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention or law.
Changes
We may update this policy as the products develop. The effective date at the top identifies the latest published version.
